Watch my Palaeoverse lecture series talk!

Hello! Life has been crazy and I haven’t posted anything here, but figured I should post about the talk I gave almost a month ago!!

The folks over at Palaeoverse were very kind to invite me to give a talk about my work, and I decided to use this opportunity to bring more attention to the stratigraphic-range fossilized birth-death (SRFBD) model, which I believe is the future of paleo-phylogenetics!! Check out my Research for more details on this project.

In my talk, I discuss the results of my simulation study comparing SRFBD with more traditional FBD models, and some interesting aspects of my empirical application of the model to a dataset of Canidae. Then, I walk the viewers through a tutorial–which you can also check out on this very website here! I hope my talk and tutorial will make others excited to check this model out, and I’m always here to answer any questions about it!
